Shifting Funny
My 2001 Ram 2500 Diesel has 80k miles. I just realized that it had been 2006 since the last transmission service. It had started shifting oddly so I took it to AAMCO and the flushed and changed the fluid and filter. However, still doing it. At around 40-48 mph it shifts rapidly up and down. Slower or faster it's OK. Should I try an additve? Is this and indication of internal failure? Old fluid was dirty, but no evidence of particles in it or the old filter. Appreciate all help.
The TV linkage ect should be about the same as gasser set up
If you have a DVM check the batteries with the truck running for AC voltage, if there's anything significant, say over .1 ACV I would suggest an alternator replacement, don't have it tested, its probably charging just fine and will pass a bench test, but it has a leaking diode letting AC voltage into the electrical system causing erratic sensor readings, in result poor shifting

I replaced the TSP with no change. One shop I talked to said it sounds like the torque converter. I just had the fluid flushed at AAMCO and it didn't do this on the test drive before or after. They said no sign of particulates in the old fluid. Ideas?
