Late 99, or 2000 I think. Mine doesn't have the little motor.

If you remove your stereo you can see the cable where it attaches to the door(At least if i remember correctly). If you open it then close it you should here the thud it makes when it's closed. At least mine does because i replaced all deteriorated foam/weatherstripping when i replaced the heater core/evaporator There is clip that holds the cable to the box it shouldn't need adjusting unless it moved. I don't think there is any kind of adjustment at the dial end. Another thing it could have debris in the heater core obstructing air coming in, How is your heat in the winter?

Heat sucks too.

There is a procedure for adjusting the blend door at the control head. It's actually posted on the forum somewhere...... I just can't come up with it. It's been several years since it was posted. I *think* it was Zman that put it up. He's been gone for a while now.

Here's a post from Zman on adjustment, but this appears to be straight out of the service manual:

Is that what you were looking for?

Glad to be of a little bit of service back to you.

Here's something else I found from a couple of years ago. It seems like you're pretty consistent.

And Zman's post was two years later. Was I psychic? Or, was that "psychotic?"

Just a little self troubleshooting could you pinch off the heater core lines and drive it awhile? This should help indicate to you wether it is blending in some warm air or if the a/c just plain isnt working

Could it be a lack of airflow all together?

Airflow is good thru the vents. Pinching off the heater lines sounds like an interesting idea though.
