Default 1999 Ram 1500 signal lights not flashing

The other day my signal lights quit working. Checked the fuse and it was good, so wandered down to the parts store and bought a flasher. Still no flashing signal lights.
If I put on the left signal light, the flasher clicks once, the left dash indicator lights up and both left exterior signals come on. The same happens when I try the right side. When I put on the Hazards, all lights come on without flashing.
So then ordered in a Multi Switch, changed it out and no difference in the problem. I cleaned all the ground wires in and around the power distribution area and now out of idea’s.

Do you have standard bulbs or any LED's? Also did you change the correct flasher? There are two one for the 4 ways and one for the turn signals.

Actually 98&up have the single "combination flasher". OP: Did you get the correct part from the store and not just a regular flasher ? Also check fuse 10 on the inside and the black/white ground wire from the flasher.

Correct. This truck has the single style flasher. I have checked the connections and have labeled as 1- Constant Power, 11- ACC Power and 111- Ground. Both 1 & 2 have full 12 volts. 111 has full Ohms so seems to be a good ground.

111 has full Ohms
Sorry did you mean 0 ohms ? If you have a test light try using it to make sure the connections can carry current. A voltmeter being a very high resistance device does not detect bad connections along the path. If that all checks out, I have no idea - good luck ! Well actually post a picture of the numbers of the flasher relay you got. Also measure resistance to ground on the two output pins (the horizontal ones) with the turn signal left, right and hazard on. With regular incandescent bulbs these should measure close to zero ohms or open depending on switch positions.

As in most electrical issues, I have more. As it turns out I also don’t have rear brake lights. The centre brake light works but nothing at the rear.
At the junction block behind the left hand steer tire I seem to have have power when the brake pedal is applied. (Wires Gr/Br & Wh/ Br). Then the Emergency flashers are on I have power at the same junction (Gr/Rd & BL/Wh). So am thinking I got a brake wire issue at the rear end.

Check the grounds at the brake lights.

Not really sure why, but when reconnected the connector behind the left hand steering tire, the brake lights worked. I then tried the flasher again and still did not work. I did the visually check the wiring all the way to the back bumper and did not find anything corroded or loose connection. As I was putting the rear lights back in (Drivers side) the brake light went dim, reverse light came on dimly. Sure enough, when I moved it around it was shorting in the plug. Took apart, cleaned it all up, put it back together and all is good.
I also went and purchased another Flasher put it and finally the lights were flashing.
My thought is that it all started with the bad connector at the rear, overworked the initial flasher. The secondary flasher may have gotten damaged with being taken in and out WAY too times. Thank you all for your pointers and hints to get another 2nd Gen back on the road.
