Modified 1999 Ram 2500 V10 Manifold Gaskets
So I have a leak at the manifold on both sides. So it kinda sounds like a diesel lol my question is how likely am I to snap the bolts taking them out when I change the gaskets next week
Unless you are driving a creampuff of a truck that's kept in a garage and washed regularly after each exposure to the nasty northeast elements & salt on the roads, I suspect that you have a high probability of several of the exhaust bolts snapping during removal.
Any tips besides for PB- Blast the hell out of it?
Here's a pick of My Baby
PB Blaster, applied liberally, then tap the bolt heads with a hammer. Helps the blaster penetrate better.
Also, trying to break them loose when the engine is still fairly warm helps some too, though, it tends to be a bit hazardous......

So I took the truck out today, ended up bending my tie rod, and limped it home. So now the exhaust money will be going to a new one of those 🤦🤷 guess I won't see how she sounds without the leaky *** gaskets just yet

+1 on penetrating lube, put on way ahead of time if possible. In general, small impact, with the power dialed back, and a wobble adapter, which you'll need on the back bolts anyhow, takes some of the torque spikes out. Work while the engine is hot, rattle, rattle and be patient, especially with the nuts that hold the heat shields on. They old guys taught me that, and they knew everything.
