I have a 97 ram 2500 with the v10 thing has always ran great up till few weeks ago I would be driving along and would just die no spit and sputter just die since then I have replaced fuel pump crank and cam sensors and a different computer OK now it runs great if you can handle driving in reverse all day because if you put it in drive it will idle but soon as you even breath hard or set your foot on accelerator it dies then restart it misses a little then pans out please help me before I take it to the boneyard

What brand crank sensor did you install? These trucks REALLY don't like aftermarket sensor in critical locations.

it doesnt really say a brand but i did get it from parts clearinghouse and part number says PC343/56027864 and i tried to shy away from the 30 to 40 dollar ones. This one was 75 thats about all i can tell you about it but ill try look further into it ok i did find something interesting in the description it reads that the sensor mounts behind the motor mount toward back of motor then it says not in front and mine is located right in front of motor mount so maybe possibly not the right one

Put the original cam and crank sensors back in. See if it runs any better.
