46re transmission issue
Hey everyone, I have a 1999 dodge ram 1500 with the 5.9l and 46re transmission. I recently had my buddy rebuild the transmission and we put in a new stall. Had issues with the shifting where it would take off in 2nd or 3rd gear until I'd make a complete stop then sometimes I'd get lucky and it would take off in 1st gear. So we replaced the governor pressure transducer and installed
After the install the transmission worked great, runs thru the gears just perfect. Now the problem is that my transmission temperature light and O/D off light stay on. Any ideas why it could be?
I know the part says 47Re/48RE and I know it says for diesel but my buddy says it's still basically the same transmission. He thinks maybe the issue lies in the wires since the transducer is a gm style one. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I would suspect the wrong pressure sensor, but, when the sensors changed, so did the connector..... 2000 and up are rectangular, 99 and down are round. If you have the newer sensor in there, those are exactly the symptoms that you would get.
