2001 ecm in my 1998 Ram 1500

Will the ecm from a 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.9l with 3.55 gears work in my 1998 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.2l with 3.55 gears?

Not sure, but best to look at the part number of the existing PCM and find a good new or used PCM with the same number.

No, it won't. Especially if you have an automatic trans. Get the right PCM for your truck, and save yourself a host of problems.
