Filter is part of the pump module, and isn't generally considered a maintenance item. If you pump fails, then you replace the whole thing, and the filter along with it.

Yeah, on these the filter is integral to the fuel pump. I actually cut an access panel in my bed to make replacing the fuel pump a lot easier after I had one fail under warranty a week after replacing it. I was alone and had no one available to help. If you find yourself in that situation, it's not a bad way to go.

Filter or sock is on the pump in the tank. Not serviceable.

Well, if you're determined to do it, you either drop the tank or you remove the bed. It's part of the fuel pump assembly. While you're at it, replace the fuel pump too as you've done the hard part of the job already.

Hey is correct. It all one part fuel pump/filter. I can say this. It's not cheap to buy but was a rather easy change for me. My tanks was very close to empty and I found things in the tank that puzzles me. lol. Just don't rush and drop the tank low enough to be able to get to the top of the pump to disconnect. I jacked the right rear up enough to slide it out. Pumped what fuel was in there through a paint filter to keep the gas clean ( Used it for my lawn mower).I pressure washed the tank before removing the pump. I then washed the inside and let it drip dry, then went back and paper toweled it completely dry. Put new pump and it's working great.
