1500 coil springs up front on 2500 ram truck
Hey Dodge guys. I've got a question about my front coil springs. Ive got a 98 2500 5.9 gasoline ram truck and rides like a tank, even with Bilstien shocks all around. My question is has any of ya tried putting on 1500 coil springs up front? I'm not hauling heavy loads. Much appreciate any info guys.

That sounds surprising. I have old Rancho 5000 series on the front of mine and it still handles well, however, I have rebuilt the entire front end some time ago. Now the rear shocks is were I felt like the truck was bouncy, so I replaced the old Ranchos with Rancho 7000 series shocks in the rear and it really rides must better and not rough like a truck. I do plan to replace the front shocks with the Rancho 7000 series shocks and a 2" leveling kit, but have been hampered by other projects and time...

Usually, a truck will drive like a truck. It might be softer but handling will suck. Especially under any load.
