Default New guy just saying hi!

Greetings from the Inland Northwest.

Just picked up this '99 Sport 4x4, regular cab/short box w/ 5.2 and 5 speed. Needs a good amount of tlc, the usual stuff like the dash and power steering pump, but should make a fun little project.

I'm sure I'll have questions, already checking out the sticky's and faqs and using the search function.

Cheers.

They use watered down magnesium chloride as deicer on special occasions, but they gravel like maniacs in my area. Thats why the front bumper, grille, and windshield look like a tweaker with an ice pick went after it, lol. But yeah, not rusty other than any exposed sheet metal, quarters, fenders, door sills, bed, frame, all solid.

Oh most definitely!! In these parts, not used to seeing really rusty rigs, even older ones. Went to Minnesota last winter and couldn't believe how many newer cars rusted out.

Where I live, you can go to any junkyard, and find cars that start, run, and shift perfectly, but are so rusted out, they are undriveable.
