Default ABS light and no speedo

I tried looking it up but no one has the same symptoms I’m having. Occasionally my ABS light comes on and stays on for a full day. It won’t go away during a drive but not come back on later that day. When the light comes on I lose speedometer. The Odometer is still on but I don’t know if it updates. Looking into bad speed sensor the parking brake light tends to be on as well and the speedo works above 30. Neither of those happen for me. I lose it all together and only have the abs light. The truck also won’t shift when this happens. It’ll go 1-2 but no higher.

im currently having a similar issue. ABS and BRAKE light on occasionally. My Speedo works 100% of the time though… I’m not sure the problem either. I bought a new ABS speed sensor. Gonna install and see what happens

Bad speed sensor. If your truck is 98 or newer, its on the rear diff.

that was my theory. And it’s a 99. Any recommendation for a source of high quality speed sensors?
