Default No overheat, no overdrive, light is always on

I have a 46re trans in my 97 ram, 1500 4x4. The overheat lite has never came on, the overdrive button on the dash is always lit, and the transmission doesn't ever get into overdrive. I seen a video or two and replaced the overdrive solenoids, changed to the Borg's governor and spring, and the rest of the upgrade kit. I also adjusted the front and rear band. It shafts at about 2,500 to 2,700 in between 1/2, 2/3.. but have yet the see 4th. Even going down the freeway at 70-75 MPH. What can I check to find out the issues. Fluid and filters are new? Would the magnet not being in the pan have anything to do with this.

Are you getting any trans codes? What happens if you press the O/D off button?

No codes.. engine light is off. And pushing the button makes it flash off. But stays on.

Ok, on the PCM, Connector C (gray), pin c13, see if you have power there ignition on. Probably 5 volts. Also, wouldn't hurt to plug in with a scanner, and see what the PCM thinks trans temp is. Theoretically, it won't engage if it's too hot, or too cold... though on the too cold part, I have my doubts. Mine would hit O/D as soon as I hit 43mph, regardless of temp. Even when it was -15F outside.... and I hit that speed within a few hundred feet of leaving the house.

Do you have a diagram for that pin location?

Found it.. the plug has numbers on them when taken off the unit. It get no power signs of power on that pin from both the harness and the computer. Key was turned on. What's next?

Codes are unrelated, first one is about the cannister purge solenoid, second one is battery temp sensor.

Need to test for voltage with ignition on, and the connector plugged in. PCM sends a voltage to the switch, the switch is just a momentary on, which sends a brief signal to the PCM, the PCM then turns on the cool little lite, and will not engage the O/D solenoid.

okay.. seems I need a new fuze in my volt tester. because I had It on 1.5 volt battery not 9. But it had enough volts to pop the fuze
