Default 2001 ram 5.9 engine dies.

When starting the truck the truck will start, then die, unless you keep giving it gas. Once you keep it going it will die when you let off the throttle to stop or slow down. No codes are present or check engine light. Any thoughts? Thank you.
It will do this a couple days the may run fine a week or so then do it again. It's been doing this about 2 months.

Time to pull the throttle body, give it a thorough cleaning. Leave the battery disconnected while you are cleaning. (new TB gasket is like 3 bucks.) Put it all back together, turn the key to On, (not start) count to ten (don't touch anything), THEN start the truck. Should figure out idle pretty quick, and your problem should be gone.
