Losing power

Default Losing power

What would be the problem when your driving and the tach goes to 2 then drops back down losing power or chugging

Year, make, model and engine of the vehicle? Automatic or manual transmission?

At what speed that happens? Might be TPS acting up, sounds like you loose torque converter lock and overdrive alltogether. I had that happen when I was driving down the road @55 mph, engine rpm's just jumped up and couple seconds later they came down.
