Default NV4500 help.

I'm building a 98 Ram manual swap. Have a NV4500 and it was just rebuilt. But won't go into first? Any help is appreciated!

Have you run this question by the person that rebuilt the transmission?

If you shut off the engine, and push in the clutch, will it go into first?

Sorry, I should have explained it better. It will not go into first off or running but goes into every other gear either way. Only other thing is 3rd is a bit weird. It goes in off only of you pump the clutch 6-7 times.

Talk to the folks that rebuilt the trans. I suspect they screwed something up.

Is the clutch pedal spongy? If so, need to ensure there are no leaks and re-bleed...

No leaks. I've checked that multiple times. Pedal not spongy either.

Sounds like you need to speak with the transmission rebuilder if they're available...

I called the original guy and the builder has past away. Unfortunately. Thanks though for the help.

Was it done thru a shop, or just 'some guy'?
