Default 01 Front Dana 60

Hey guys so you're familiar with the front Dana 60 having an intermediate shaft on our 2nd gen trucks correct? Then a collar of course to move over for 4x4 a couple years ago I did the posi-lok setup which I'm not crazy about. For years I've been kind of wanting to switch out the intermediate shaft and outer shaft for a full time axle shaft. What is everyone going with in regards to that for a direct swap this way all I have to do is just use the transfer case and will just use the actuator housing for the axle vent. I know it's more popular for jeeps and the Dana 30, but I'm sure there are some good one for the Dana 60.

Could always pull the cad housing, pull the clips, slide the fork over, put the clips back in, and reinstall such that the collar is always engaged.....

What don't you like about the posi-lock?

I think it was the manner of brake rotor retention, but I can't explain why that would affect the inner axle shaft

Didn't they go to dual piston calipers in 00 as well? I think there were some differences with ball joints, and/or tie rod ends as well.

Amazon reviews say '00-02 is 32 spline inner. Previous was 30, as is the Yukon product

Both EMS Offroad and ECG (East Coast Gear) show listings for a 32 spline CAD delete axle.

That said, if you're not wailing on the rig I'd lock the CAD as suggested and install the different t-case switch so your light still works, unless you already did this w the Posi conversion

The **** can just be a pain sometimes and the bottom of my dash is a bit messed up too so a bit hard to find a good mounting point for it.
