I have a 99 ram 1500 and I’ve finished fixing a bunch of time consuming stuff so I’ve moved onto the interior again. When I bought the truck the seats were junk. Falling apart, someone put a board into the drivers seat because the springs broke, and just incredibly uncomfortable to sit in for more than about 15 minutes. I went to a junkyard and picked up a pair of full power Chevy trailblazer seats (integrated seatbelt) which were cheaper and easier to source than oem dodge leather power seats. I went to just close the signal so it always thinks the seatbelt is buckled, but I see there’s three wires on the plug so I just don’t know which ones need to be connected to close the circuit

 

Have the service manual for your truck? If not, get one here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W.

ok I got to the manual and I found the plug I’m looking for, but it says there’s only 2 pins. Is there another plug with 3? I don’t see a different plug with only two

 

Are you looking on the truck side, or the seat side?

Ok, the connector shows a dark blue/white wire, and a light green/red wire are for the switch sense.

 

this is the only plug I could find that is attached to the truck wiring harness. It has 4 pins

edit: I found the plug, I was looking at the pictures I sent in the thread and saw a little wire and a plug. Not sure what this 4 pin plug does but that little one is definitely the plug I was looking for, thanks HeyYou

 

4 pin may be for power seats, whether you had them or not.
