Let us know what you find on the control arm bushings.

Also wouldn't buy any more parts just yet. Keep hunting down the cause. How about swapping the tires/wheels with something else in your arsenal of Rams and driving it? That would tell you if it's wheel or tire related.
That was one of the first things I did. I put a set of Kenda 33s on it and really no diffference in the steering...that's all I had to test, all other trucks we have are 8 lug

Anything above 30psi on those tires made the truck bounce all over the place. I chalked them when i first put them on last year and 25-26psi seemed to be the best ride. It was perfect for about 6 months. No wander. No bump steer. This truck spends most of its time in the woods and trails but does occasionally make road trips.

Then it started getting a little loose so i changed steering and now its worse lol. I like new parts. This truck likes new parts. I dont mind putting them on. This particular truck never sees winter and I wash after wheeling so it's very clean and easy to work on. I had already planned on installing/upgrading almost every non-new part on this truck this year so I'm not buying stuff that I wouldn't have anyway. These issues are more or less just dictating what order I buy them in.

good news; finally found someone to mount the 42s that just arrived for my other truck and I only have to drive an hour to get it done lol

Minor update for anyone who cares...

Rotated tires and adjusted pressures slightly, this actually helped a lot with the bouncing/ vibration on turns. I guess there was some very slight cupping just in the outer edge of the tread that was causing this..

Control arm bushings definitely don't look great so I'll be changing those out, as well as shocks, calipers, pads, and rotors, tomorrow after work. I will update how it drives after those changes.

Replace the soft lines as well.

Another update. New brakes and everything installed easy, but it's always something.... when I was bleeding the brakes the intermediate line from front to back blew out in the rear so, still waiting to get the new line in before I can test drive. Work has kept me busy, but I hope to get it in tomorrow and see how it drives. I have the new rubber lines also

In the meantime, finally got the 42s mounted on the other truck. Only had to cut the bumper plastic a little...I can't BELIEVE how smooth these tires are for the size. No noise or vibration whatsoever.. and with the 5.13 gearing the truck is extremely happy doing 60mph at 1700rpm steady. Great on the highway and even better in the dirt.

I also have a new lares steering gear on the way for this truck and an edelman for the other, figured I'll try one of each so I can leave some feedback here to compare the two
