I知 doing the voltage regulator for my alternator on a 24v I知 confused as to what to do for the wires on the alternator do I tap into the wires on the harness or just cut the connector off and make it runs straight of the the voltage regulator

 

I *think* you want to leave those hooked up as well, so the PCM won't whine.

 

is there something wrong with the voltage regulator in the pcm?

 

I believe the PCM houses your voltage regulator function. Check to ensure that all of your wiring coming from the alternator is stable and intact. If so, sounds like it's time for a PCM replacement if the alternator voltage isn't being properly regulated.

 

Did you take the alternator to be tested? No need to do the regulator conversion if the alt is bad.
