Default Truck stalling with no bus error

just in the past few days my truck has been stalling at idle and while driving with on occasional no bus code, i played with the wires and grounds near the PCM and noticed a relay clicking while jiggling the plug closest to the driver side on the PCM, i'm guessing i need a new one? i did clean the connectors and added dielectric grease

im not entirely sure but when it stalls driving or idiling it says no bus and comes back once i wiggle the ECM connector closest to the driver side. i switched out the ASD relay thinking that was it but i had my buddy who is a heavy duty mechanic look at them and said they were all good

2000 dodge ram 1500, 5.2 and i think it uses the 46RE? the no bus error goes away when wiggling the ECM wire/plug closest to the driver side

Might be a failed PCM..... Try just pressing on the connector next time it fails..... If that fixes it, check out the connector itself, make sure it isn't diry/corroded/etc.If that all looks good.... probably PCM time.

No. I don't..... None of 'em seem to have a very good reputation... Best bet is to try and source one locally. Major parts stores, etc. That way, if there is an issue, you can speak to someone face to face to get the issues corrected.

Can they order them???

Yeah, parts for these trucks are becoming fun to find..... But, considering mine now qualifies as an 'antique'..... shouldn't come as a surprise.
