Default 2001 Dodge Ram2500 V10 Hesitation

Hello all, New here. I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 V10. For the most part the truck runs great. Every once in awhile ill accelerate and the truck seems to stumble, like it just doesn't want to go. It will eventually snap out of it and run correctly, one time while trying to throttle out of this state, it backfired and was fine afterwords. Any idea what might cause this?

Failing throttle position sensor? May or may not set a code..... I know my 98 is reluctant to set ANY codes.... even when it has a dead miss.... May wanna check fuel pressure as well. If it's intermittent though, more likely the sensor.

Thanks! Ill take a look at this. I was thinking maybe bad fuel injectors? I know its getting good fuel pressure. New plugs, new coil packs but still get this random stumble.

When mine acted up like that, it turned out to be the throttle position sensor at the time. Mine also hates setting codes, but when the stumble suddenly got extreme this spring it set an O2 sensor code. Replaced both and it's like driving a new truck.
