Default Power Window Swap

Hello, I'm looking to swap my manual windows in my 02 2500 Quad cab and was wondering what is all required to do the swap. My questions are, Is the wiring all in the door, if not where would i plug it into? Since i will need a new door panel will a single cab panel fit, if so what years? From what i have heard everything will bolt in place and there is no cutting or splicing wires. From what I can tell I will need the switches, panels, regulators, and motors

Door panels from single cab won't fit. Doors are a different shape.

Wiring in the door won't be there, so, grab it from a donor at the yard.

Body side connector *might* be there. That would be something to look for before spending ANY money.....

That sucks about the panels, I rarely see light grey extended cab panels but i see lots of single cab ones, now as far as the body side connector where would that be located? and what does that connector look like?

Square, dozen pins or so..... there is likely a plug in the door frame between the two hinges where it would come out thru. I think its just white plastic.

Stupid question, Is this the body side connector? If so will the power window harness plug right in?

Yep. That's it. There were some minor differences over the years..... my 97 doors with power stuff wouldn't work on my 96 truck. I had to change the door side harness..... No idea why.

Probably. But, if they body-side harness is actually there, verify the circuit breaker is too... Should be golden.
