Default Engine stall

Hi All, I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9 automatic. Awhile back my truck would not start so I changed the pickup in the distributor and that fixed it. Recently the truck would die in traffic and the gauges died and the No bus came on. I found jiggling the black connector to the computer would fix everything until the next time. It has also taken much more cranking to start. The symptoms seem to point to the crankshaft position sensor. So, I changed it. The one bolt tightened down tight, but the other bolt would not because of a casting bump in the head. I figured the one bolt tight would work. Engine started quickly and no stall out for about 2 days. Then long cranks and stall outs returned. Again jiggle the black computer terminal and truck starts and runs fine til next time. I have disassembled electrical connections and cleaned as well as grounds.I hesitate to change the computer cause so many times computers get changed and the problems don’t get fixed. I have had this truck since new and now have about 261,000 miles on it. Both sensors were purchased from Auto Zone. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Winner74

Sometimes, the female pins in the connectors will get expanded, so they don't make good contact. The fact that jiggling one of the connectors will fix the issue for a while, suggests that may be a problem, or, it might also be a bad solder joint in the PCM.
