Headlights Problem
I have a 98 dodge 1500 just wondering if any knows if i dont have the daytime running light module hooked up will that stall my truck when i put the headlight on.
Okay things have gotten strange here has anyone ever heard of pulling the headlight switch on and the truck starts ?
Thank you

It is unlikely that not having the daytime running light module connected would stall your truck when you turn on the headlights. However, it is possible that there could be an electrical issue causing this problem. It is recommended to consult a professional mechanic or refer to the vehicle's manual for a more accurate diagnosis and solution. As for the second question, it is highly unusual for a truck to start when the headlight switch is pulled on. Again, it is advisable to seek professional assistance to diagnose and resolve this strange behavior. For more information check out: Dodge ram headlight problems.

i changed the altenator it was used but it seems to work okay, not sure if a short in the altenator would make the truck start with the headlight switch being turned on. would you know if i have to tear appart the whole dash to get the interior fuse box out to i can look for a short there

I'd be checking the connections related to that remote start system very closely for obvious reasons, even though it's supposedly disconnected...
