Default Headlights Problem

I have a 98 dodge 1500 just wondering if any knows if i dont have the daytime running light module hooked up will that stall my truck when i put the headlight on.
Okay things have gotten strange here has anyone ever heard of pulling the headlight switch on and the truck starts ?

That's very strange. Do you have any sort of remote start feature on this truck?

i changed the altenator it was used but it seems to work okay, not sure if a short in the altenator would make the truck start with the headlight switch being turned on. would you know if i have to tear appart the whole dash to get the interior fuse box out to i can look for a short there

I'd be checking the connections related to that remote start system very closely for obvious reasons, even though it's supposedly disconnected...
