Default 2001 ram Aftermarket EFI

I want to build a 408 for my 2001 2500 Ram. My concern in that is I want aftermarket EFI and, it to be plug and play, and work with my factory computer. I am good with a carburetor style as I have the intake already. I have been looking at the sniper 2 but don't know if that will work with the factory computer. I have been searching but nothing comes up with using the factory computer. Do I need it to make everything else work?

Thanks

I also have a 5 spd in the truck if that makes a difference. I am not looking for speed, just some more power to pull camper and trailer.

So, get a good tune for your new engine, and just update the existing system. Or, for not very much more money, buy a software license for HP Tuners software, and tune the engine yourself.... (STEEP learning curve there though.....) HemiFever, or Flyin' Ryan' could get you a base tune to start with.

The factory is multi point fuel injection, The "plug and play" ones are throttle body injection. Getting rid of the factory pcm means you will have no dash display, It is can buss controlled.
