Checking it would be a good idea.....

I changed the fluid. No change in the performance. I think I’ll have the shop take care of the transfer case. If it goes beyond the snap ring I’m in beyond what I’m comfortable with.

Default Vibration Fixed

Update to my issue:

I had my transmission guy ride with me and he said replace the rear u joint. Though they moved well in the yokes upon my inspection they had grooves on the spindles (see example image). I replaced both. I would not have thought it was the u joints!

Yeah, I can see how that might be a problem. The one on the right in the picture looks kinda galled as well?

Wonderful. Glad you got it solved. U-joints are a typical culprit with age & use.
