Thanks for updating us that the truck is running larger wheels. The spacer was likely installed to stop the rubbing on that one side due to the wheel/tire choice. For example, I run 285/75/16 tires on 16x8 factory aluminum wheels with no rubbing whatsoever..

Being between the hub, and rotor, wouldn't effect wheel placement. Wonder if the rotor was rubbing on the caliper bracket, or some such.

If that was the case they would have put them on bo0th sides and bigger spacers, I bought the truck off of my boss at work, when he had it it had the stock wheels on it, the asst shop supervisor had the wheels off a dodge he had up in his shop ion Va, that was getting new wheels so they put them on my truck and didnt put a spacer in anywhere

nope, no signs of any rubbing, except the square bearings colored blue that fell out of the left hub LOL
Sorry, I misread that the spacer was between the hub and rotor. Still, weird..
Yea tell me about it, along with why is there only one on one side

I looked in my manuals too theres no spacers installed on either wheel from the factory which means SOMBODY down the line installed 1/4" spacers and somebody else changed tye left front hub and not the right and saw a spacer that didnt belong thaere and tossed it
I called Tidewater Dodge today at lunch and asked to speal=k with a tech, when he go on the phone I asked about teh spacer on eth right side, HE said as long as my wheels dont have teh oppsoite offset ( inward instead of outward) spacers werent supposed to be there and that I sould just toss it

That spacer wouldn't change the wheel position though. It simply moves the rotor further away from the wheel......
It aligned perfectly I asked Joe if any wheel was out farther he said no, so either somebody forgot one a long time ago, or tried one and not the other
