So I was working on my truck today as my neutral safety switch wire was broken I fixed it and cleared my codes and everything was fine I was driving at night and had my headlights on and then my truck shut off on me as did my blower motor I shut the lights off truck started again and ran lights on shut off again I shut them off and turned the key off and back in blower came back but after starting shut off again as did the truck with lights pulled the park lamp fuse and drove home with headlights but no parks but the check engine light came off as this problem occurred and gave me the p1689 no ecm-injection pump code but the truck runs and drives fine no power loss skipping nothing runs as it should but runs that code and can’t have the lights on and no blower when the truck is running
any help is much appreciated thanks in advance
Blake
Grab the service manual for your truck from here. See if there isn't something in there that is helpful.
I got a thing off of another forum of different wires and stuff that could be bad do you have a wiring diagram of the ecm and injection pump it has a vp44

If it isn't in the service manual, I doubt you will find it...... I have never found an internal wiring diagram for any ECM...... regardless of application. Connector pinouts are as good as it gets.

it was a service manual but the pump had no data link power so I tested it at the ecm and had the same thing so does that mean the ecm is toast
