Default 97 dodge ram 1500 5.9L overheating, no codes??

Did gaskets from the heads up, also replaced broken ect sensor and connector, and ect sender. Also replaced thermostat with a 195° motorad.
no codes, runs great, but consistently heats up with no signs of slowing even up to 230° or so.
heat gets warm with temp and gets warmer with acceleration.
no leaks. . .
Can anyone help???

Sounds like you may still have an air pocket in the cooling system to cause it to overheat so quickly or you have a defective thermostat (not uncommon these days, even new). If you have a laser temperature gun (something like this - https://www.harborfreight.com/201-in...rms-64847.html), you can point it at the thermostat housing, radiator hoses and the temperature sensor on the intake to see what the coolant temperature is actually running.

Okay thanks, I'll jack it up in the front tomorrow and try to purge the system of air. And I'll grab a Lazer temp gun from work. Lyk what happens.
