Unhappy Leaking from vacuum pump/power steering assembly (again)

Hello! My truck started leaking engine oil from the vacuum pump a while ago so I ordered a rebuild kit and rebuilt it. Now it’s leaking power steering fluid from the same place (see picture) Do I need to buy a new power steering pump or did I not reassemble the vacuum pump correctly with the o-rings? What should I do?!

Yes for sure, but I'm just confused of what seal and if its the vacuum or the power steering pump... I find it a bit odd that its leaking from there, usually its engine oil that leaks there...

If that is PS-fluid, there really is not many places it to leak, and it's the pump shaft seal. I replaced pump to my truck for that very reason.

Is the pump shaft seal the big one you change when rebuilding the vacuum pump? Or is it directly on the powersteering pump? Because I remember when rebuilding mine there was a very small groove on the powersteering shaft, I passed a scotch brite to help it a little could that be the problem? And if it's the problem I trought it would leak engine oil and not power steering fluid... I'm so confused

I can't recall. It's way over a decade when I rebuilt my vacuum pump, and less tha a decade when the power steering pump was replaced.

No worries, i'm thinking of buying a new powersteering pump then, since they are not the most expensive part and since the shaft on mine is already grooved. Is there a popular, good workig replacement that you know of?
