Default High idke
So I got a 1999 dodge Ram 2500 sport with the 5.9 magnum recently the rpm’s have been fluctuating and when I’m in park I’m sitting at around 1500 rpm which isn’t normal for my truck can anyone help me out?

Vacuum leak most likely. Start looking for those first.

Also sounds like the IAC going bad. Try unplugging it and see if the idle stabilizes, it's on the back side of the throttle body.
