Default 95 dodge 1500 rear cab red running light and rear running lights stay on constantly

1995 dodge ram 1500 the rear cab light and taillights stay on constanlty. No matter what i do they stay on unless i just unhook the battery everytime. Ive had these issues on and off sense ive gotten the truck and had it fixed at one point but with me swapping the motor i mustve messed it up again. Any suggestions to fix this?

tail lights/running lights like the red lights that come on when you have the headlights on. i believe my cluster also stays lit up and i know for a fact its due to the same problem

And, also check the headlight switch connector/wiring harness. They are famous for melting at the terminal connectors and sometimes aren't noticed until you disconnect the headlight switch from the connector/wiring harness.
