I have a 1998 ram 1500 with a 5.9l. Has anyone tries jet performance chips? Did they make any improvements? What stage did you use? Thanks

 

Well, it installs between the PCM, and the black harness connector. It advertises "Up To" 25 hp... (stage 1) I don't have time to see what all is on that connector for the PCM, but, it would bear some investigation. For the money they want for it though, I would be more tempted to put the money toward a tune/tuner..... Likely get better results.

 

From what i have herd all it does is fool the pcm in thinking the temp is cooler than it actually is and the pcm give it more fuel.
