Default Replacing coil springs

I've got a 97 dodge ram 1500 4x4 that I plan on replacing the coil springs on. I've rebuilt the front end but still have a rough shake when hitting bumps. I'm wondering how hard it is and what the easiest way to to about it is. I was also gonna try to replace my control arms and I got the bolts closer to the rear off on the lower arms but the two front ones won't break loose at all

Those front coil springs are usually not an issue. Did you replace the front shocks with good quality shocks as part of the front end rebuild and properly tighten/torque the shock bolts? Also, the bushings in the control arms are something to check out as well.

yeah i replaced the shocks with rancho 5000s and tightened them like they're supposed to be. I don't really know what bad control arm bushings look like but I assume mine are probably bad, they're sorta flattened out

I figured atleast one coil spring was bad because when I hit a rough bump on the left side of the truck it feels almost like the wheel is coming off the ground but when I hit a bump on the right side it still shakes but doesn't shudder

I'd replace those control arm bushings first. Good shocks should tame the bounce from the front springs, but if you have bad control arm bushings, you could experience all kinds of wandering and knocks depending on road conditions.

Where, in general, are you and do you have any photos of the front springs and control arm bushings you can share here?

Thanks. I'm guessing that the roads there aren't the best maintained roads around?
