Ok finally got the new fuel pump, couldn'tget the nut on but figuredid try the new pump anyway. I got 45 and 49 while cranking. It's holding while off for 20 minutes stays at 40. Wouldn't hold before.
I tried the starting fluid. Nothing, tried pumping the pedal and it will flood.
Still looks like it fires just enough to burn what's just on the electrodes.
I got a top don scanner. Pretty nice for 60.00.
No codes. Live data says cam and crank in sync, the temp sender is 19° Celsius🤷♂️. I tested everything with this thing (solenoids, injectors etc.)
Checked spark again, still sparking🤷♂️.
I still can't believe 3 fuel pumps and 4 crank sensors🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ bunch of junk.
So what am I missing🤷♂️

I would kill for 68 degrees.... Been in the 90's for the last ten days here.....
Beg/borrow/rent some noid lights. See if the PCM is firing the injectors. Although, if starting fluid doesn't work, that rather implies a spark problem..... Test spark on at least four cylinders, 2 from each coil pack.

So that top scan tool has a testing area where you can test everything.
I tested each injector (through the top scan tool each one can be tested) I can hear each one running.
I had tested some, ( too hard to get to on passenger side) not all the injectors with a test light.
As for the spark, I tested each coil and wire and the spark jumps the 3/4" gap in the tester.
To me it seems something is disabling whatever run circuit the computer has but I build mostly classic cars/trucks so what do i know?🤷♂️
I'll get a couple of noids and see if I can get in there, raining now so not today.
But would i really need a noid if a test light is the same?

A test light will work just fine too. Noid lights are just a bit more convenient, if you have them. Since you already have the test light, just use that.
So you are indeed getting good spark.... but, it won't even fire on starting fluid? That seems mighty strange... What plugs do you have installed?
