Default 2001 2500 swap to rear disk questions

I have a 2001 2500 (4WD/V8) and I need to replace the Dana 60 rear which has drum brakes (apparently manufactured before the change to disk). I bought a 2001 SRW Dana 70 that has disk brakes which I understand to be a bolt in. The 70 is complete with spring plates and parking brake cables (same gear ratio). I purchased a new (larger bore) master for a disk rear truck. Do I have to do anything to the proportioning valve or ABS (4 wheel) to accommodate the change to rear disk? Thanks

Toss it in there, and drive it. See how it feels, and if everything works. Go from there.

I swapped out my drum brake Dodge Dana 60 rear for a late model disc brake Dodge Ram Dana 60 rear several years ago. I used the original master cylinder that was on my truck. I did change the speed sensor as the connector on the '96 speed sensor is different than the late model speed sensor on the rear. The parking brake cables on the disc brake rear are different than the drum brake cables, but they connect to the same places. I didn't do anything to the proportioning valve and everything worked fine. My truck is a rear ABS truck and not a 4 wheel ABS setup, but since the rear ABS is controlled by the rear speed sensor (I believe), you should be fine.
