Could this be getting pinched and causing any problems? I believe it is the wires for my crankshaft position sensor… looks like the bolt holding on my dip stick is whats pinching

One person drives, the other watches the scanner. Trying to do both ain't precisely safe.

Yep. That's highly likely a pinched wire.

All Other pins had a ohm reading and these stayed blank.( haven’t gotten to driving it around with the scanner plugged in)… Also unplugging my abs module will make my brake light go awa…Could this be an indicator to anything??

Testing pin 1 and pin 8 and nothing was happening it was staying at 1. Even tried switching between settings.

Did a test on pin 4 and pin 11 and got the exact same results.

That's an open on 1 and 8. That's not right. There should be some value there. Pin 4 is 12 volt feed, test that one to a good ground. Pin 11 is output to the brake light in the dash.....

so i should test pin 4 for 12 volt current? (Key on or off?)
So if im not getting any reading from pin 1 and pin 8 does this mean that they are bad? Since pin 11 doesn’t give me any reading either would that be why i have a constant brake light?

Pin 4 should show 12 volts with key on. 11 will likely show low resistance to ground. (its a light bulb after all.) The open on 1 and 8 means either a bad sensor, or bad wiring. Either way, that needs to get fixed first.

Pin 4 i couldnt get any readings. It would stay at 0v. Pin 11 got 12 volts.
Pin 1 and 8 are the wires that run all the way to the rear axle, i have already checked the wires up until they go into the frame. Would u suggest i pull them out of the frame to inspect them?
