Default 2001 v10 no spark until you stop cranking.

My original v10 engine in my 2001 Ram blew some rods at 270,000 Miles. Found a replacement engine with 130,000 Miles, put all original wiring back on, all original sensors, and now will not fire up while cranking but when I stop cranking it fires up sometimes. Tested and confirmed that it Sparks after I stop cranking the motor but not while cranking. When it does start it runs great. Not throwing any codes. I always eventually get it started but sometimes it takes 20 bumps of the key. I have tried hooking a remote start button up and it does the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. I have also tried different crank and cam position sensors.

Download the service manual for your truck from here. Wiring diagrams are in section 8W. Need to see where coils are getting power from, and what's different between start, and run.....

Do these run individual coil packs or shared? I'd wonder about a weak or failed coil, but not all 10 at once.

5 coils, each fires 2 cylinders. 3 on one pack, 2 on the other.
