Default 2nd gen ram 1500 wiring headache

Hello i was wondering if anyone else has had this issue where your running lights keep popping fuses? i have discovered that its a short i just dont know where in the system. i have tried unplughing fuses and even disconnecting taillights and headlights! is there anyone who has had the same issue? Please help!
p.s if it helps my truck was manufactured in mexico

What year is your truck? Wiring changed over the years....

Probably gonna have to follow the harnesses, to see where the short is. Which fuse is it blowing?

I was able to figure out the running lights. it was a ground wire in my radio harness. lol

Im now having the issue of my cargo/bed light not turning off i dont know why, its not the switch in the cab. any ideas?

Are you speaking of the third brake light center section that illuminates the bed? If so, that's controlled by the headlight switch. Did you disconnect the headlight switch and check the headlight switch wiring connector to ensure nothing is melted/shorted in there?

The pull style headlight switches are known for melting the connectors. Even if it looks ok externally give everything a good once over.

Is it fully illuminated or just partially?
