Default Transmission rear servo

So I’m not much of a transmission guy, but Ive had problems with shifting and a whining noise only when accelerating. I orgianlly just replaced the governed solenoid and had no luck with the same engine code for that solenoid. What’s my next step, I did also order a shift kit that has all the electrical parts and sensors, my transmission pan has been dropped and I’ve looked at my rear servo, the play isn’t bad but I have no clue about the piston/spring inside it, when I press the band everything moves but clinks, also with my finger, I was able to move that spring/piston around, it seems loose but everything moves fine aside from that, I’ve had no problems with neutral but I’m curious if this is a problem. I have the 46re transmission

What code are you getting and is the whining sound coming from the transmission? And the rear differential. If the sound is coming from the transmission, it is most likely the bearing in the overdrive housing.
