After replacing the solenoid, did you clear the PCM codes by disconnecting the battery and reconnect the battery after about 5 minutes? Also, did you re-check the PCM for any codes after clearing the codes and taking a test drive in the truck?

I diddnt disconnect the battery I cleaned them with my obd tool should I do the battery thing? This has been happening for months now and I’m pissed off at it because that od selonoid was a pain in the *** took 3 hours because it was stuck here it goes out of the tranny fluid is at the right level as well
Clearing the codes with the scanner should work, however, the battery disconnect and touching the negative + positive cables while off will clear everything - just to be sure...

ok I’ll try that but if that doesn’t work then what
Sounds like it is going into overdrive but its not locking the converter at all. I see you have a thread on this already, solve that then see what your rpms are.

i have replaced the overdrive selonoid, governer pressure selonoid, and sensor
Question becomes, is the PCM commanding O/D? If it is, and it doesn't see the RPM drop, that *should* set a code..... I think the 200 RPM drop is TCC, O/D should be a much more significant drop.

sometimes it’ll show a 3-4 shift code but that hasn’t shown since I replaced the od selonoid, it drops around 200 but doesn’t drop below 2k like I want it to it’s a tired engine and running it that hard like that isn’t gonna help
