Default 1998 Ram 1500 issues

Hey all new to the forum and have an issue. Recently I purchased a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 with the 5.2L V8, Auto trans, rwd. Its my first truck and was serving me faithfully until last week. Last week I drove to my local farmer co-op and parked. Came back out and the truck would start. Cranked and cranked but wouldnt start. Battery was good as it was brand new so I had it towed home. I got it home and checked for codes and it has none. No Check Engine Light, no codes nothing.... right now the truck is a crank no start. I am getting fuel to the rail and i can smell it in the exhaust. I am also getting spark and I just threw on new plugs and wires. I checked my coil too and its good. I then finally got the truck to run. Problem is it only runs with the throttle pedal mashed to the floor. I cleaned my throttle body up real good but that didnt do anything for me. I replaced the IAC and the MAP Sensor with genuine mopar parts from the local dodge dealer (expensive), that didnt fix it either. Like I said this truck will run if I crank on it then as soon as it fires I have to ram that pedal to the floor and it only revs up to 1,000 RPM maximum. Would this be a case of a bad Throttle Position sensor on the pedal ? I was thinking either that or the accelerator pedal cable. The local dodge dealer said it would be $350 in diag fees and I aint about all that. Thanks for all who reply and I can give more info as needed.
