Default Sputtering

I've got a 2001 second gen 5.9l and occasionally when I turn the truck off it's like it's sputters for a second or two. Can anyone help me to figure out what's going on?

What you are describing sounds like pre ignition. But fuel injected cars the fuel source gets shut off when you turn the key. What may be happening is a injector is leaking and you have a hot spot on the head that is igniting it. Check your fuel pressure and shut it off, Watch the gauge and see if it drops pressure. What is your gas mileage like?
