Default 97 Ram 5.2

Does anyone know what this thing is that is mounted on the driver side of the engine bay? Dealerships have no idea what it is. The truck had a small fire before I got it and I’m redoing the truck. Thank you

All the lines are black. I google image searched it and nothing. It’s insane to be honest. There’s 6 wires going in. 4 are thinner gauge and there’s two bigger ones in the middle. Honestly at this point if someone has one that I can get the numbers off of that’d be great

I believe this is what Chrysler calls a "ground joint" in the FSM. There is no picture just a description "near the PDC".
