I have a alloyworks radiator for my truck. Everything else bolted/hooked right up. It’s a direct fit for my ‘99 1500 5.9 Laramie. The lower transmission fluid cooler quick connect fitting is unlike the factory one. The factory one has the threads in the radiator, this one has a bung that a nipple/stem threads onto. Problem being, either the trans line shrunk a little or I’m just an idiot. The stem is Maybe a tenth of an inch too big if even that. Am I supposed to use the disconnect tool to put it on? I can’t find a replacement stem anywhere, all the parts houses have never seen one in their stores. Even Napa and a hydraulic part dealer has no idea about it. I give it another half day of me working on it and I’m just gonna get a few adapters and start cutting things.

That said, make sure it is clean on the inside, dribble a little trans fluid into it, then try and just push it on. Shouldn't need the tool to install it.

I’ll go look tomorrow! I figured if they didn’t see them then they didn’t have them. I believe it’s 3/8s inside female threads that fit on the bung and I know it’s half inch that goes in the hose.

You sure you got the correct one? There was a video on the Amazon page for these and it shows the correct quick disconnect fittings. I also would like to know how long the "rows" are. The factory rows as wide as the core it self(about an inch). Couldn't find any info on the amazon page or their web site.
