Default P1740 Code

Hello all, first off new to this page and owning a dodge truck, always had fords (I know I know)

2001 Dodge Ram 2500 kms 271,000

So awhile ago my check engine light came on, hooked it up and the code P1740 came up, I reset it to see if it was a ghost code, 1 month later the code came up again. For a deeper explanation- I read forms on it and everyone truck is stuck or won’t shift, my truck shifts fine is not at high idle on the highway, at 110km my rpm is at 2000/2100rpm everything doesn’t seem to be wrong? (Famous last words)

looking for any advice to start replacing or checking with part names please.I am mechanically friendly as I work on all my tractors and equipment, love this truck already have done so much work on it
UPDATE! I have found a small transmission leak in the hose from the transmission cool rad. Don’t know if that will do it also

Thank you so much.

TCC code..... Find a place where you can get it up to 45 miles an hour, without a lot else going on around you..... Accelerate slowly, and you should be able to count the shifts. You'll get 1-2, 2-3, lockup, and then O/D once you are going better than about 42mph. (not sure what that is in KPH....) TCC lockup will drop RPM around 200 or so, O/D is a significant drop.....
