Smile 1995 dodge ram 360LA swap complete!

Still have minor things to do with wiring management, paint, wheels etc but it is running and driving perfectly and mechanically its done. Thanks everyone on this forum that has helped through out ive opened many threads on this forum and its been a big help. I linked videos to the truck with sounds if anyone wants to see it!

I also plan to swap back to an auto im thinking with a ratchet shifter instead of the manual and plan to possibly lower it. Just thoughts not dead set yet on it! Open to other ideas and suggestions. This is just at toy for me. Not going for no big show quality. but open to mod suggestions and ideas! Thank you

Wow, that sounds lumpy. And it's got some power to it..... Not sure how I feel about lowering a 4x4 though... Seems counter-intuitive to me.

Oh, and: That gets expensive on the tires. But, does put on a nice show.

It sure does thats what im debating on getting rid of the 4x4 and lowering or just keep it how it is with the leveling kit

My vote would be leave it as is. Still a functional 4x4 truck, just likely somewhat faster than it came from the factory.

You mean, launching without all the tire smoke?

Yes. Rolling 2 step. I added the clip to the link. Spins through all of 1st and 2nd if i launch from a dig. A roll it wont spin. Doesnt have the best brand of tires on it tho so probably why it spins so much. Ive never let it rev all the way out either cause i have no limiter and no tac so no clue the rpm. Working on finding a spot to mount a tac but the entire dash is plastic so not sure where to mount one at

On the 95, tach is drive off the crank sensor, I think..... I don't know what the tach output of the MSD box puts out though...... It might be possible to build a 'translator' to give the factory tach the signal it is expecting?

Speedo is driven off the VSS in the tailshaft of the t-case. I suspect if you simply gave that sensor five volts, the speedo would start working. (assuming the rest of the wiring for it is still there......)
