95 ram 2500 was having issues shifting ik pretty sure because the governor was failing but I was on the free way an all of a sudden like something broke the rpms jump and I didn't have any power to the wheels. I came to a stop turned it off for a little bit turned it back on an it will move just a little bit before going back to fully slipping . An I hear rattling near the flywheel please help me
Broken flex plate wouldn't hardly allow the engine to crank over I wouldn't think.
Gotta agree with this one. More than likely, trans failure....... given the truck officially qualifies as an antique, I would say it lasted a good long time.
If you plan to keep your antique truck (personally, I would if it's in decent shape and paid for given the price of newer trucks), it sounds like it's time to have your transmission rebuilt or replaced..
I drive my antique truck everyday , I look at all the other vehicle on the roads today and shake my head. Seen some new Mercedes SUV today, Looked like a oversized bubble top ugly(Tesla).
