Default Front Drive Shaft Replacement

Hi folks, I need to replace my front drive shaft on my 99 Ram 5.2 4x4 w/46RE and when I go to buy one it gives two options.

One is “First Design” with sales code DJF Dana 60 front axle.

The other is “Second Design” without inside snap rings on u-joint and with axle yoke previously replaced with sales code DJC Dana 44 axle.

Does anyone know the real difference here?

Thanks very much!

The one for the Dana 44 also says "except w/ auto trans. Thinking it might be for a manual transmission.

I'd just take measurements and contact Tom Woods at 4xshaft.com

You'll get a far higher quality piece

I ordered my front driveshaft replacement from these folks - https://driveshaftspecialist.com/

Received a high quality driveshaft at a very reasonable price delivered to my door. It fit like a glove.
