I want to put the posi lock 4wd cable in my truck to bypass the vaccum actuator and gain 2 low. It looks simple enough to hook up and use, only issue I have is, when I install it. My actuator lines will not be needed anymore but with them being open instead of the pressure from the actuator, will my HVAC controls still work? Google tells me no, and I know myself that these trucks are almost all vaccum for everything so I’m assuming not either, is there a way I can essentially, “tape them off”, per say, and it still work?

If you don't need the lines any more, remove them, and cap the vacuum source. It's on the passenger side of the engine, toward the back. There is only one line for vacuum for the cad system.
